1 植物名。葫芦科苦瓜属，一年生蔓草植物。茎细长，有卷须，叶子呈深裂状。夏日开黄色小花，雌雄同株。果实长形，仍称为「苦瓜」，幼嫩时是绿白色，老熟时呈橙黄色，果肉味苦，且表皮有许多突起的瘤状物，故也称为「癞瓜」。
