1 春秋时代秦国国君。嬴姓，名任好。勤求贤士，得百里奚、蹇叔、丕豹、公孙支等贤臣，助晋文公归晋。周襄王时伐西戎，开地千里，襄王命为西方诸侯之伯，遂霸西戎。在位三十九年。諡穆。春秋五霸之一。
