1 神话传说中的女神。原是掌管灾疫和刑罚的怪神，后于流传过程中逐渐女性化与温和化，而成为年老慈祥的女神。相传西王母住在昆仑山的瑶池，园里种有蟠桃，食之可长生不老。也称为「金母」、「瑶池金母」、「王母」、「王母娘娘」。
