1 瑕，玉的斑点。瑜，玉的光泽。瑕不掩瑜比喻事物虽有缺点，却无损其整体的完美。《晋书．卷六九．周顗传》：「顗招时论，尤其酒德，礼经『瑕不掩瑜』，未足韬其美也。」宋．邵博《邵氏闻见后录．卷四》：「惜哉仲淹，寿不永乎，非不废是，瑕不掩瑜，虽未至于圣，其圣人之徒欤！」
