1 树木两枝分歧的地方。《东周列国志．第六四回》：「俗语云『怪树怪丫叉』，绰最与州邢二将有些心病，原原本本，未免迁怒到栾盈身上。」也作「桠杈」。
2 两手交叉。宋．陆游〈冬晴与子坦子聿游湖上〉诗六首之五：「双手丫叉出迎客，自称六十六年僧。」
