1 抱著木柴去救火。比喻处理事情的方法错误，以致虽有心消弭祸[``gydict--99c9._104_0.gif]，却反使祸害扩大。《淮南子．说山》：「止言以言，止事以事，譬犹扬堁而弭尘，抱薪而救火。」《史记．卷四四．魏世家》：「且夫以地事秦譬犹抱薪救火，薪不尽，火不灭。」也作「抱薪救焚」、「负薪救火」。
