1 动物名。棘皮动物海星纲。身体呈星形、扁平，腕作放射状，大多五枚，但有的可达五十枚，而用腕部的管足运动，口在腹侧的中央。雌雄异体，再生能力特强。常栖息海滨岩礁间，匐行觅食，以牡蛎、蛤蜊等贝类为主食，对海水养殖有害。
